Canadian country music icons – Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Michelle Wright, Beverley Mahood and Patricia Conroy will take the stage for the first time ever for the Exeter Rodeo Committee Fundraiser in a unique Acoustic Concert in the Round.

The Acoustic Concert in the Round – The Songwriters Series 2013 celebrates the penning of original songs and introduces you to four of Canada’s strongest female country songwriters of our time.

Carolyn Dawn Johnson ( has racked up 17 CCMA’s, including the tile for reigning Female Artist of the Year, as well as being crowned the Academy of Country Music Top New Female Vocalist in 2002. The following year CJD was named Favorite New Country Artist of the Year by the American Music Awards.

Michelle Wright (, the newest member of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame (2011); 32 awards including the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Female Artist in 1992.

Patricia Conroy ( has been award 6 CCMA awards and 9 BCCMA awards. Has written or co-written for Canadian stars – Emerson Drive, Michelle Wright, Beverley Mahood, Jimmy Rankin, Lisa Brokop and The Rankin Family just to name a few.

Beverley Mahood (, one of CMT Canada’s most popular personalities and host of the runaway hit – Pick A Puppy. In 2004 Celine Dion recorded Beverley’s composition “Come to Me” for her platinum album – Miracle. And later this year watch for Beverley to star in the made-for-tv movie Changing Seasons.

On top of all of their accomplishments – last week Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Michelle Wright and Beverley Mahood were acknowledged once again by the CCMA’s :
